We should talk
at some point, I think
about what we’re going to do
with God
once God’s been dethroned
it isn’t exactly
a golden parachute
scenario here
And I know the traditionalists
would leave God in a gutter
to suffer but I’d like to think
we’re aiming a little more
Utopian than that. A couch
to crash on at least
for a little while, a line
on some more honest labor
Therapy.
Definitely.
I mean, God is God but God
is still ours and still our
responsibility if we’re
burning the prisons
if we’re housing
the homeless then God
needs a place, too,
somewhere, somewhere
to think about things
Maybe come to some terms
I know it’s a ways away, I just think
we should plan for it now
like I said
We’re trying to do better
this time around.
